Your lines are amazing. The lines are super clean, even though it is a quick gesture piece. Mind blowing stuff!

I see 'em Grigor. And I get what you're saying. But it takes me twenty lines to get one right one, and yours all seem to be right. Arrrr... Back to class.

like they say "practice makes perfect" I have come to realize that a good gesture drawing is "THE" foundation to following through and executing a finished drawing- . I start ALL my drawings this way- whether it be 1 minute- or a 30 plus hr pose- time is the determining factor- the pencil should feel good as you make your lines- Another thing is that draw from your shoulder NOT from your wrist- think of it like painting- eventually you will have to bare down and make smaller marks. basically what ever you do think from the out side- large to small, in the most basic to abstract sense-

and most importantly is ENJOY what ever you do-
life is stressful enough drawing shouldn't be!

Love the gestures!! I miss doing gesture drawings in a class with a model!! having so much freedom with the red conte and just creating those thick too thin lines with a swipe of the wrist! Great drawings Grigor!
